Designed to withstand extreme environments, MIGE watches must pass ten different impact tests before they are officially released. The most stringent of these is the high-impact hammer test. This impact testing equipment subjects the watch to an impact force equivalent to 6,000 Gs - hundreds of times higher than the impact force of a car crash test. However, the watch must remain intact and fully functional at the end of the test, maintaining high precision.
